I get it!
Being a female leader comes with its own set of challenges. But here’s the thing, your unique way of leading is what sets you apart and makes you great!
As your coach, I’m here to help you navigate those challenges and embrace your strengths. Together, we’ll tackle any self-doubt or external pressures holding you back. With practical advice and encouragement, you’ll gain the confidence to lead authentically and make a real impact. You will learn to bring your true self and show your true self in your leadership role. That’s your unique gift, and you’re going to own it!
It’s time to own your power, speak your truth, and lead with heart. Let’s start this journey together!
You knew you were ready for promotion and the idea of leadership was extremely exciting, but now you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious and like you’re not enough.
The strong characters you encounter are challenging your every fibre, and you need some help to be the leader you know you can be.
You want to bring your true self to your role, and not be pressured into the kind of corporate employee slayer who nags and doesn’t nurture, protests rather than praises, and criticises instead of complimenting.
You know the importance of being a good leader, but you’re not quite sure how to step up and own that role.
Well, that’s where I can help you!
I work with women (and men) like you who know they are there to make a difference, but just aren’t sure how to get there.
I’ll help you make the changes you require so that you can lead with confidence, authenticity and compassion.
You have a choice.
You can either stay stuck, overwhelmed and exhausted, constantly wondering if you are doing a good job, or you can make the choice to change.
You can forget all about…
You’ll be sure of who you are as a leader and know what matters to you.
Having challenging conversations will become easier, and you will become skilled in providing constructive feedback to your colleagues.
You will build a team who trusts each other and who is willing to go the extra mile together.
You’ll be better at managing your time and be more aware of what your team are doing.
Collaboration will be the name of the game, and your team will feel they have a seat at your table.
Stress will always exist, but you will be better equipped to manage the more challenging times.
You see, I’ve been there where you are.
I’ve woken up each morning completely lacking confidence and direction, not sure what others think of me, and letting my limiting beliefs eat away at my ability to see through the doubts.
I’ve felt the stress and the pressures, worked ridiculous hours, and not felt like I was making any headway. Within all of that, you work alongside other women who feel they need to hustle in male dominated environments to lead like men, and you just don’t get it.
You desperately want to feel in control of your emotions, you try to be like those other women, but you know that’s not your authentic self. You feel like a fraud, and as a result your team just don’t have your back.
So let’s stop for a minute.
Let’s breathe and take the time to consider this for a moment…..
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Okay, you need time to stop, reflect, de-active the practices you’ve created and step into the leadership persona that you are truly aligned to.
I’ve had many leadership roles, from Acting Headteacher to Senior Education Officer for a national regulatory body, to a Quality Improvement Officer for Professional Learning and Leadership, all which have brought me great joy.
However, they all brought enormous stress and challenges that were perpetuated often by not being aligned to my values.
I was really fortunate along the way to have received and led professional learning that would allow me to use my leadership skills to my best ability.
I struggled with other female leaders who felt the need to step into their masculine energy and ‘rule’ with fisted hand. It just wasn’t me.
I needed to be in teams where I felt valued, nurtured and supported, where my leaders celebrated my successes and encouraged me to learn from my failures. There were one or two who did that beautifully for me, and they taught me to try to lead the same way.
Being coached saved me. It allowed me to realise where my skillset lay, and it is due to coaching I now do what I do.
I’m on a mission to support female leaders to be authentic, to bring their femininity to their role and to encourage collaboration, relational trust and a sense of family.
I’m on a mission to bring change to the workplace, so that those female leaders struggling to find themselves, can do so, with my support, and become the leaders they aspire to be.
